Bathtubs
Porcelain, ceramic, fiberglass, and acrylic bathtubs can be refinished to look like new. The main
reasons for refinishing a bathtub are to change an outdated color and/or restore a dull, rusted, and
damaged surface. The newly refinished bathtub will have a smooth, high gloss finish that is easy
to maintain and will last for years.
Tile
Old, outdated colors can be transformed into a new and updated look without the hassles and
down time associated with conventional remodeling. Cracked tiles, drill holes, and missing
grout can easily be repaired prior to applying the refinishing coatings. One very attractive
feature of refinishing tile is that the grout lines are sealed, eliminating the problems of mold and
mildew, which allows for easy cleaning.
Antique Sinks
Restoring antique wall hung and pedestal sinks has been very popular for many years. Repairing
and refinishing old sinks to a like new condition allows for the homeowner to maintain the
original ambiance and character of the bathroom from when the home was built.
Counter Tops
Laminate, tile, and cultured marble counter tops can be refinished in either solid colors or
granite-like finishes to breathe new life into old and outdated kitchen and bathroom surfaces.
Damaged areas, if any, need to be repaired prior to applying the new finish. The end result is a
beautiful new look that is extremely durable and chemical resistant and will provide many
years of utility.
Fiberglass Enclosures, Spas, Whirlpools
Over time, the use of harsh chemicals and cleaners, abrasives, and heat will eventually wear
away the original finish on these types of fixtures. Our refinishing system replaces the eroded
finish with a new one, giving many more years of life to the fixture without the need for
unnecessary replacement.
Inlays
Many fiberglass and acrylic bathtubs and showers are severely damaged on the floor, including
deep scratches, cracks, pits, and inadequate support (a “spongy” bottom). Our inlay installation
process is an attractive and permanent solution to these all too common problems. An inlay is a
piece of fiberglass that is custom cut to fit on the floor of an existing fiberglass or acrylic
bathtub/shower and then fused in place, making it a permanent part of the fixture. The inlay
will never crack, wear out, or delaminate from the applied surface and is a cost effective
alternative to total replacement.
Damage Repair
Prior to refinishing, chips, pits, cracks, and deep scuff marks can all be repaired to ensure the
best results, and in some cases, restore functionality. Most fixtures needing refinishing have
incurred some type of surface damage from years of use so surface damage repair is common.
Cabinets
Formica, metal, and wood cabinets can all be refinished mainly to change the color. Scratches
and most other surface damage can be easily repaired prior to refinishing. Sticky and worn wood
cabinets can also be revived to their original appearance. Refinishing cabinets, by far, is much
more cost effective than refacing and especially replacement.
